Vila Gama Apartaments - Machico (Madeira)

The apartment was amazing, with a kitchen where we could cook our meals and a cable TV for entertainment. I loved the balcony with sea views, it was such a relaxing spot to enjoy the scenery. The private bathroom in our unit was clean and had a bidet, which was really convenient. The complimentary wireless internet access was a great bonus for staying connected.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the bath or shower in the private bathroom, but others might still find it enjoyable.

Mind-blowing proximity to airport, limited plane noise at night, easy check-in communication. Super clean, cozy apartment with a jaw-droppingly comfortable bed. The hosts, Pereira's Family, were incredibly friendly and helpful, even assisting with off-site car rental. Free Wi-Fi, well-equipped kitchen, and a flat-screen TV. A truly pleasant stay with the best value for money. Highly recommended!

Loved having the entire apartment to myself, and the "spa services" were quite something. a sauna and hot tub turned out to be my electric kettle and a basin of warm water. How posh!

Oh, and the "laundry facilities" were non-existent. Great, now I'll have to wear those dirty socks again for the rest of my trip.

I recently stayed at the Vila Gama in Machico and had a fantastic experience. The hotel had a very big terrace with a stunning view of the ocean, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The apartment itself was spacious and had a large outdoor area. The kitchen was well-equipped and convenient for cooking meals. I also appreciated the car parking availability. The location was ideal, being close to both Machico beach and the airport. It was a great opportunity to escape the crowds of Funchal and enjoy the quiet beauty of Machico.

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to the airport and the highway. The supermarket was just a short walk away, which was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we received prompt service when we asked for additional amenities.

There were a few minor issues during our stay. The shower water sometimes became cold, but we noticed that this was a common problem on the island.
